Gerry Douglas (Director of Brain Time Ltd) offers a counselling service for individuals, couples, family groups, and organisations. Reasons for seeking counselling frequently include one or more of the following:

Gerry has a warm empathetic inclusive manner. His professional point of difference is that he brings a neurotherapeutic perspective to counselling. He has a sound understanding of how to efficiently achieve counselling goals through optimising positive neuroplastic changes in the brain. Neurotherapeutic approaches Gerry utilises include:

  • EMDR -Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing. (Gerry has had advanced EMDR training in the US on numerous occasions, including with the founder Francine Shapiro PhD)

  • Neurofeedback (Gerry has had advanced pIR HEG neurofeedback training in NY with Psychologist Jeffrey Carmen PhD, inventor of pIR neurofeedback0

  • Synchronised Metronome Training (Interactive Metronome®)
